It marked the end of the second generation of Continental GTs, which came into a close the following year. The 2017 Continental SS was inspired by the Continental GT3-R (2014-2015), featuring an updated version of its torque vectoring system and an even more powerful engine. The star of the show is Bentley’s 367-cubic-inch (6.0-liter) liquid-cooled W12 engine, whose twin-turbochargers help produce a staggering 750 ft-lb of torque. In fact, the 6-litre, W-12 twin-turbo engine can blow the doors off of vehicles half its weight. The 0-60 mph acceleration time is three flat seconds and top speed is a breathtaking 227 mph.

In true Bentley fashion, all that force is wrapped in a polished shell embellished with carbon fiber accents inside and outside the car. The front and rear bumpers incorporate both a carbon fiber splitter and diffuser while the front wing vents and rifled exhaust tailpipes are painted gloss black. Additionally, carbon fiber bonnet vents, side skirts, and a rear spoiler both reduce weight, improve its aerodynamics, and contribute to its sporty character.
